The T32 immersion week is an annual event which brings together this community to connect in-person. Translational Advisory Board (TAB) members, Faculty Mentors, Trainees, and Affiliate postdocs come together for professional development, seminars, business meetings, scientific presentations, and team building.
The 2019 immersion week was held in March, in coordination with the NJ Center for Biomaterials annual conference on Biomaterials Science, which the trainees also participated in.
The immersion week agenda included the following:
- Six Sigma Design of Experiments training
- Responsible Conduct of Research training
- Venture capital project pitches to the TAB
- Poster presentations
- Networking events
- Social dinners and activities
