How to collaborate

In Industry and Thinking About Working with NJCBM?

NJCBM has a strong team of experts who have been working with industrial collaborators for many years. A large part of our team is comprised of PhDs with industry experience in medical devices, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

We are not a GLP certified laboratory- our test services will serve your needs during the Research phase of your product development cycle, and/or for novel materials development prior to scale-up. We also have experience in evaluating new indications for existing biomedical products.

We will develop a project plan with deliverables, timelines, and budget. In order to ensure that the deliverables are met within the agreed upon timeline, the team will set up regular web teleconferences and/or in person meetings with you to review the status of tasks and any new data that has been generated as per the tasks.

The following are examples of services we can provide for your team.  Work can be done on an hourly, or per project basis:

Physico-chemical analyses of materials, powders, and liquids

Analytical techniques include: Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-ray Diffraction, Gel Permeation Chromatography, HPLC, QCM-D, and drug release studies which can be developed for your materials.

Degradation studies

The team has decades of experience with preparing experimental designs and performing degradation studies to investigate the rate of degradation, and the degradation products. Studies can also include mechanical analyses during the various time points.

Cellular and molecular biology in vitro studies

With in-house biologists, we perform cell studies and analytical techniques. The team can assist in many ways from testing a particular analytical assay, to developing an experimental design with various analytical techniques.

Experimental designs for pre-clinical studies, chemical/ chemistry development and analyses, biomaterial characterization, and medical device development.

If you have needs that are outside of these listed, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to set up a time to discuss your needs, timelines, and expectations.
